AP Inter Prep ("the app") is an Android study app for Andhra Pradesh Intermediate students, published by AI365Apps. It has no accounts, no sign-in, no ads shown inside the app and no in-app purchases. Two things send information off your phone: the optional AI Tutor and Meta install measurement, both described below.
Your name, chosen avatar, year and group, chapter progress, bookmarks, quiz scores and study plan are saved only on your phone. We cannot see them. Uninstalling the app deletes them. The chapter notes, practice questions and mock tests are inside the app and work without internet.
When you ask the AI Tutor a question, the app sends the text of your question, together with your year, subject and medium (for example "1st Year, Physics, English") and a random install code, over HTTPS to our server at ai365apps.com. Our server forwards the question, year, subject and medium to OpenAI to produce the answer and returns it to you. The random install code is generated on your phone when you first use the AI Tutor. It is not linked to your name, phone number, account or advertising identifier, and is used only to limit each phone to 20 questions a day. Our server also sees your network (IP) address, as every server does, and uses it only for the same daily limit; these counters are kept in a short-lived form and deleted within a few days. We do not store the text of your questions or the answers. We keep a simple usage log (time, app and the size of the request) to control cost and detect abuse. OpenAI processes the request under its own terms and privacy policy and may keep API requests for a limited period for safety and abuse monitoring. If you do not want your question to be sent, do not use the AI Tutor; the rest of the app works without it.
AI answers can be wrong. Please check important facts against your textbook or lecturer, and do not type your name, phone number, address or other personal details into a question.
We advertise this app on Facebook and Instagram. To learn whether an ad led to an install, the app includes the Meta (Facebook) SDK for Android. When you open the app, the SDK sends Meta basic app-activity events (such as "app installed" and "app opened"), your device's Android advertising ID, your IP address and basic device information (device model, Android version, app version). It does not receive your name, your chapter progress, quiz scores or the questions you ask the AI Tutor. Meta uses this information under its own privacy policy, and we use it only to measure and improve our ads. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ads personalisation, in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads. We do not sell your data.
We collect no email address, phone number, contacts, photos, location or microphone audio, and we do not read your hardware device identifiers. Apart from the Meta install measurement described above, the app does not use analytics or tracking services, and we do not sell data.
The app is meant for Intermediate (Class 11–12) students and is intended for users aged 13 and over. It has no social features, no links to strangers and no purchases. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13.
AP Inter Prep is an independent study aid and is not affiliated with the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh, or any government body. Official sources are linked inside the app (Profile → Official sources).
